All About Me Posters! By: Niharika G.

If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?

Three 3rd grade students answered this question. Palmer said that she would wish for a pet panda, to be able to fly, and speak with animals. Arnav wants a pet dog, to be able to teleport and to have lots of shells. Finally, Ayaan wants every power, to be able to create more powers and a pet of his choice.

This year, 3rd graders in Judy Caraang’s class learned about each other. Instead of just talking with everyone, they made posters about themselves.

A 3rd grader named Ayaan said that the posters were just about you, which was supposed to showcase who you are! For most kids, it took around two to three days to draw everything, and coloring added one more day. Palmer said that the project was fun because you got to see what other people liked and show your similarities and differences! Ayaan also said that it was fun because you just colored, you didn’t have to say who you are, you just got to express yourself through your drawings. The posters are being showcased on the wall in Ms. Judy’s classroom, so everyone who walks into that classroom gets to see who those 3rd graders are as well as their interests and personality types. Another 3rd grader, named Arnav, said that the project was fun because you had to be creative with what you drew.

This is Palmer, Ayaan, and Arnav holding their All About Me posters.

Ms. Judy, the teacher of these amazing 3rd graders, said that the inspiration for this project was that all the students were so different, so they made their projects different and unique. They wouldn’t do it just one way, they would all do it differently. They made the project by adding their name, then they split the paper into different sections with eight lines. After that, they filled each section with something about themselves! Ms. Judy said that the projects came out fantastic and I agree with her! She said that her favorite part was that when they were talking throughout the project they learned about each other and that’s what this school is all about. I think the projects were impressive  because I got to see who the kids were and what they liked.

These talented 3rd graders did an awesome job with this project! I love how much detail and color they put into this project. I’m super proud of these new 3rd graders and what they did in just a few days!
