Service39 Family Support
Our intent is to serve as a resource for our own Design39 community – including families of students, LEDs & staff – to support those in our midst who are facing temporary challenges and/or adversity.
All information shared with the committee will be held in the highest level of confidentiality possible, unless permission otherwise is granted by involved parties.
Individuals or families needing assistance may be referred by any of the below means
- Self-referral
- LEDs
- School counselor
- Welcome Center
- Classroom/ Grade span ambassadors
- Other parents/ Students
Examples of situations may include, but not limited to:
- Illness/ injury/ hospitalization/ surgery/ death of immediate family member
- natural disaster
- loss or damage of home
- birth of new baby
- divorce
- baby/ child adoption
Anticipated assistance could include:

Referrals will come to a single individual with personal and professional experience in this area, who will then speak directly with the family, in full confidence. After assessment of the situation and establishment of needs, help will be coordinated from that point, at whatever level of publicity the affected family is comfortable.
How you can help:
Provide your name, contact information, and any specific skills or talents (meals, gardening, child care, handyperson, interior design/ decorating, estate planning, etc.) for a resource list, that can be tapped into when needs come up.
